About

The Connect Center was originally built as the first Walmart in Washington.

In the mid-2000s, Walmart built a new building and Tractor Supply Company leased the space for several years. After they moved out, the space sat vacant for a few years before Connect Church acquired the space with the intention of establishing a building in the heart of Washington where the community could gather.

After Uftring Chevrolet experienced a fire that destroyed their building in January 2018, they rented the space from Connect Church which delayed the Church’s renovation plans but served the community of Washington in the best way possible. After Uftring’s new facility was constructed, Connect Church began renovations and moved into their new home in July 2019.

The vision of the Connect Center is to provide a space for the community to meet and gather throughout the week.
